Updates and educates department in latest aspects of Respiratory Care.  Responsible for assuring compliance with the department's policy and procedure in CPR. 	 		a. 	Will help set up in-service on new modalities to respiratory department and other Hospital areas evidenced by posters. 	 				 		b. 	Provides pertinent educational resources for staff development such as journal articles, photographs, etc. 	 				 				 	3. 	Responsible for Respiratory Care in-service to requesting departments including Nursing, Physical Therapy, Anesthesia, Staff Development and any other department that requests in-services. 	 		a. 	Responsive to calls for in-service in respiratory subjects within appropriate time frame based on the nature of call, as evidenced by log book. 	 				 				 	4. 	Supervises and assists clinical instructors sent to SSHandEC from local college's Respiratory Care programs.  Direct responsibility of supervision and coordination of Respiratory Care students sent to SSHandEC from local colleges. 	 		a. 	Acts as mediator between clinical instructor and Hospital assuring the policy and procedures of the Hospital are met. 	 				 		b. 	Assists the yearly scheduling of classroom for students as evidenced by calendar. 	 				 		c. 	Assists clinical instructor with students upon request. 	 				 		d. 	Coordinates clinical rotation for senior students by scheduling every 4.5 weeks. 	 				 				 	5.
